Why my plum tree did not have any fruits this year? also in the previous years the fruits were infected; how to cure the tree?
It could possibly be either Plum Moth or Sawfly infestation.
Plum Moth caterpillars are pale pink with a brown head. The sawfly larvae, which look like little caterpillars, make an "S" shape when you disturb them.
Plum Moth can be treated with traps and insecticide if need be. Sawfly is treated with insecticide next season about a week after the petals have dropped.
