Does anyone have a Medlar Pear?

What do you mean by a Medlar pear? Medlar is Mespilus germanica and a Pear is Pyrus domesticus . They are related though.
These days Medlar trees are usually grafted,
They are easy enough to buy, many Garden Centres sell them.
Never tried to take cuttings and not sure it they would root.

You are quite right. I have checked on it too. I am sure it would be difficult to take cuttings. I think a Christmas present perhaps. :0))
