if I save the seeds from my f1 cucumbers & dry them out will I be able to use these seeds next year to plant ?

You may be able to get something viable from the seeds, but you need to be aware of two things.

1. As they are F1 (hybrids), they most probably won't come true and may revert back to the parent plant.

2. A lot of hybrids are sterile, so the seeds might not produce plants at all.

Having said that, why not try them and see what you end up with? A seed tray full of compost and a little work could produce something viable for next year :o)
