do i prune my lavatera or just let it grow wild

Answers

Lavateras need to be cut half-back in the autumn, to avoid wind-rock and possible damage from snow, and then in the spring you should cut it hard back to keep it from flopping everywhere and also to prolong its life. I say that because the branches can split away quite easily from the base, and then it would look unsightly and you could lose it.
