i was given a hyacinth for christmas it has finished flowering and has really long leaves on it. What do i do with it now?

mine are already outside in a sheltered spot to die back naturally. it will then go in the garden. the flower will not be a s big and blousey from now on but it will still be pretty.

Water and feed and then plant it in the garden somewhere and it will flower in the years to come. Not a lot of use for forcing to flower at Christmas though.
