Hi, the definiyion of a weed is a plant that is growimg where it's not wanted, so any plant can be classed as a weed, however as a general rule, if you haven't planted it, and you don't want it, it's a weed, even plants that you have planted that self seed, if they come up somewhere that you don't want them are weeds, so it's up to you whether it's a weed or not, Derek.

Would rather know what it's name is, and then I can decide if it is a weed or not. thank you. Or rather if it is pink or purple it might stay, yellow it goes.

By the look of the picture this is Common Orache (Atriplex patula) or could be one of the same species A.littoralis or the Spear-leaved Orache (A.hastata).

Hi, I wouldn't like to say what it is, but if it's either of the ones mentioned by Honeysuckle, it will die off in the winter, as they're half hardy at best, Derek.
