autumn crocus we have a lovely bunch of autumn crocus but something is making some off them fall over i dont think it is slugs i have put pellets down around plants but it is still happening, i see brown marks around base of stem this is where they bend it is right on ground level,i dont think chafer because it is not like a cut any idea,s welcome

I would love to know how they go on in the wild. The stems always seem very brittle to me. They fall over at the least provocation.

The only thing which makes mine fall over is a slug.
Cannot find anything which is not rare which might be doing it.
