Does anyone know where I can get Chocolate Cosmos from please? I had one in 2010 and it died (I think my dog ate the chocolate smelling flowers) but I miss this plant so much and wish to replace it. Also Lady's Mantle.
Many thank yous, Folk x

Thank you everyone. I find all these responses very useful and have adopted the use of them as we speak! Have a great day and weekend.

Check out Thompson and Morgan's web page, or Spalding bulbs and plants, in the Spring.

Thank you Patfran...I really prefer to see my plants before buying them. So yes, I might have to go to Spalding to the Garden Centre there.

I know what you mean, Gorgeous... I feel the same. But these days, its often impossible to source the plant you want via garden centres. Some online suppliers are happy to email a photo of the plant they'll send you before sending it; Jacksons online do this for me. And sometimes, I don't order what they've shown me! I find them very amenable on the phone too.

Thanks Bamboo. I have bought items from garden centres in the past so might try to again.

Lady's mantle (Alchemilla mollis) is readily available at garden centres. Cosmos atrosanguinus (chocolate cosmos) is usually available, but not now. This plant is not entirely hardy, and needs protection during winter, so look for it in Spring.
