This type of rubeckia has a greyish green leaf that is furry, perennial, long bloom late summer til hard frost, 24 inch height, dark center, what type is it?

On plant Rudbeckia

Answers

The ones with the furry leaves are usually forms or varieties of Rudbeckia hirta (which isn't actually a very long lived plant).

Conversely, the species Rudbeckia fulvida (which is stoloniferous) has given rise to the excellent German selection called 'Goldsturm' and lives indefinitely as it creeps outwards renewing itself.
