the leaves have all dropped off of my my cordyline australis and the branch heads are all pappy - two to three inches down - should I cut this back? if so how severely?

if you look at the previous question, then c for cprdyline, every day there are questions such as yours, cordylines everywhere seem to have suffered badly this winter
