Answers
All malvas commonly found in Britain have edible leaves and seeds, but are chiefly valuable for their emollient properties rather than eating. Malva moschata is commonly used in herbal preparations to treat coughs and bronchitis; its mildly laxative and makes soothing poultices for the skin.
