I live in West of Scotland at height of about 500 feet and have a cabbage plant that has flowered and well-established for several years but this year we have had very low temperatures and frost and the 2 growing points have gone slimy and it's lost a lot of leaves. What should I do? Will it survive if I cut away to below the rotten slimy bit and resprout?
