is now a good to move an apple tree and plant it elsewhere?

apple trees are still in the dormant stage but not for much longer so you could move it if its not huge,if you do, then make sure you keep it well watered until it gets settled.if its a large tree then i would think twice incase it dies.

Depending where you live in the UK the sap may well be rising in the tree. If you have to move make sure you take a large rootball and don't cut the roots. You will need to keep well watered, even if it rains, for the next 6 months at least. You will also probably lose this year's blossom and hence fruit.
