Bramble/blackberry bush. I am just watching Raymond Blanc cooking a wonderful blackberry sauce and it reminded me that there is a large blackberry bush growing in the grounds here. Last autum there were literally hundreds of berries and I picked a few. I put them in a bowl of water to wash however to my horror dozens and dozens of thread like caterpillars crawled out of them! So for this year I'm wondering if there is anything I can do to prevent the caterpillars.
