Would you suggest sowing peas in a length of gutting ?
I thought that I would add peas to the veg that I grow and I seem to remember that gttering was mentioned as being the best thing to sow them in.

Another way of planting veg (to get a head start) is to use newspaper pots. This is something I do and the whole thing goes into the ground so the roots grow through the sides of the pots. My 7 yr old daughter and I spend hours rolling sheets of newspaper around a glass and tucking the ends in. :~))

The thinking is that you can get a head start on peas, and avoid problems with pests such as birds, mice and slugs by sowing your peas in guttering under cover. Then when you have healthy seedlings it is easy to slide the whole lot out into an instant 'row' with little disturbance to the peas. Good Luck
