I have cauliflowers growing well only problem is that caterpillars have eaten the leaves so only have the heads left. How do I protect them while they are still growing. Do I tie something over them ?

If you are sure its caterpillars its probably too late if they have eaten the leaves already. But be careful when you cook them in case there are some on the stems - the little blighters look exactly like the stalks. Another year try netting them to keep the butterflies away.

The heads won't get any bigger or better without leaves, anyway. Might as well harvest!
