Does anyone know of a mail order nursery that supplies large?very large shrubs.

Good point, Stroller, lol, but don't get anything too mature - they transplant less well the older they are, and there's much more risk they won't survive.

Check out Junkers Nursery - www.junker.co.uk - I have had some good size shrubs from them and they always come with good cultural instructions plus a plastic tube to sink beside them to ensure water gets to the roots. Karan Junker is also very helpful

Hi Stroller... New channel on freeview, channell 41, ideal world extra has been around for the last few weeks. From about 1pm tp 5pm they have been featuring plants etc. Some of the shrubs look quite large and established. Seem reasonaby priced but then there is the post and packaging :)

you could also look up fast growing shrubs, things like cornus alba or cotinus and budleija quite fast growing also Crocus website sometimes have good offers, like half price bamboos depends on how big you want it to grow as some shrubs grow very big dont they theres also the sambucus (elder) some nice purple leaved ones.
