how can you tidy up a lavender bush?

Trim it over, removing old flowering stems and a little of the leaf stems, but don't cut into old wood. This should really be done twice a year, immediately after main flowering flushes. If yours is now older than five years and looking very "leggy" then you should probably replace it.

I've just trimmed mine back a lot of new growth has already started to come back. Keep it tidy and keep it clean
