I have used them quite a few times, and found them reliable enough.

I always use Dobies of Devon, good quality plug plants, well packed.

Hi, I have only ever bought plug plants from 1 supplier on line, and I will never use them again, FOR ANYTHING,I won't name them other than to say, it is 2 surnames, and they're in the channel islands, Derek.

I'd recommend Simply Seeds and Plants, not because I've ever used them but just because I like the bloke who writes their blog.
The only place I've had plugs from in recent years (apart from the GC) was T&M, and while they looked lovely on arrival I had two difficulties with them: firstly that in a mixed pack of 6 plant types for a perennial border, 4 of the 6 were not as advertised and therefore not the ones I wanted, and although a credit note was issued with the shipment in case of disappointment it was still too late to get alternative plugs elsewhere for that year; and secondly that they are grown in such perfect conditions that they don't cope well with the shock of living with me, and deteriorate rapidly.
I do remember getting jumbo-plug type plants from J Parkers, which did a bit better, so depending on the type of plant you're after they could be worth a look. On the flip side, I've had a load of bare root plants from them and they've mostly died!

I've used Gardening Direct and Blooming Direct in the past and had no problems with either of the companies. The plugs arrive healthy and continue to grow into strong plants.

I've also used Hayloft plants and Sarah Raven. The plants are of good quality, but they are much more expensive, so I use these companies more sparingly!

I used Sarah Raven for the first time this year (wary of the cost before) and the plug plants were excellent: well packed and already sturdy. The trailing Verbena were still flowering in November!

I used to always send to Jersey Plants and have always been happy.

But now I use a local nursery for small plugs.

I agree Kath, I have used Jersey Plants for the last few years and have always been pleased, you always lose one or two plugs abut basically they are always in good condition.

HI, TRIED GARDENING DIRECT AND WAS PLEASED WITH
THE PLUGS THEY SENT, GOOD GROWING ON RESULTS, JERSEY PLANTS USED TO BE OK, BUT I THINK THEY HAVE GOTTEN A BIT TO BIG, NOT WHAT THEY WERE, NOT SAME ATTENTION TO PACKING OR CUSTOMER NEEDS, JUST MY OPINION
