It was quite cold over the winter but at that time the leaves were all green, it wasn't until we stated warming up into the 60's that I noticed that leaves turning brown. Delayed effect? The plant is very exposed.

Could be delayed effect, could be its been caught in cold winds recently. If its in a pot, could it have dried out too much, or even in the ground, come to that. Hard for me to judge since we're across the pond, so our weather's different.
