My plant has gone brown over the winter, and looks dead. Will it come back? It is in clay soil, but has thrived until the winter.

Thankyou for your reply. There are signs of life, so I am pleased that it has not died. My friend told me to give it a "haircut", so I have - I hope I did the right thing, (and I fed it, of course).

This is supposed to be an evergreen grass, but with the winter we've just had, I'm not that surprised its died back. It might regrow as the weather improves (which certainly won't be this week, by the sound of it tonight) but you will just have to wait and see, I'm afraid.
