At the 'Rare Plant Fair' I went to today, I bought this plant. Unfortunately, somehow, its label has gone missing. I'd be very pleased if someone could tell me what it is. It will have yellow flowers, and it should flower in early summer. Thanks!

Spritz - I think it could be a thermopsis

No, it's definitely a plant - and yes, a legume of some sort, agreed....I should have added that to the question! Thanks for the suggestion, though.

Andrew - I think you've got it! Thanks very much. I can't tell from my RHS book which one it is as yet, but when it flowers, that will help. :-)))

I have T. lanceolata which is one you most often come across for sale (which is not listed in the RHS book). Watch out for slugs - they like these

Do you think mine might be that one? I'll google it.

Watch out, one of the Thermiopsis (can never remember whether it is Tt.lanceolatat or montana) is an absolute root thug. It spreads like ground elder where happy, even coming up under paths and paving etc. Check it out before planting.

Thanks for the warning, Ob. I will check it out.

Cann't name the plant, Spritz, but is a legume and could be laburnum - if it is a tree.
