I have a large (Arum Lilly) in my fish pond.I bought it from a fish supplier some years ago hence it was planted in the pond.It has flourished very well but now it has become too large. Can I cut it back or should I make it smaller by dividing it at the roots.I dont want to destroy it as it is a very nice plant, especially when it flowers.

Hi, welcome to GoY, if you just cut it back it will grow back, I think you would be better off dividing it, but be careful not to let all the little tubers fall off, and don't make the divisions too small, or you may not get flowers this year, Derek
