Hi I would think elder, spindle, hawthorn, blackthorn are all good hedgrow plants though non of these are evergreen. some holly mixed in would also do the job.

Be warned with blackthorn though - it does send up suckers quite at distance from the parent. I have quite a bit left over from when our garden wa a field, and its quite a nuisance, though the spring blossom is lovely.Also the prunings are exremely spiny, worse than hawthorne and hard to dispose of.
