how deep do i plant fritillaria in the garden

On plant Fritillaria meleagris

Answers

They like a moist, semi-shaded soil and should be planted a couple of inches deep, and a few inches appart in a clump.
Hope that you still don't have them to plant, Guest, ours are through the ground and into bud now.

In which case leave them in their pots until they have flowered and the leaves died off, then unpot and plant the bulbs as above. For this season you could bury the pot in the ground and dig it up later.
