Ah, you must be the guest asking about a climber up a drainpipe then! First, let me just say you should never let a climber twine itself round a drainpipe as its support - it will eventually pull it off the wall. That said, if its north facing, you're restricted as to what you can grow. Have a look at Hydrangea anomala, Pilostegia viburnoides (bit slow to get going though). There's another called Schizophragma, but its deciduous. All of these will cling to the wall around the drainpipe, they're not twiners.
