Can anyone identify this plant for me, sent to me by a friend,who couldn't remember the name either, looks like a kind of sedum? leaves are succulent, does flower in summer,but having a bit of a senior moment and can't for the life of me remember what colour they are.

Its Sedum spurium varigatum. I have this and it is lovely. It has a rosy red flower later in the year.

Thanks SBG :-) I'll go and label it now, do you have yours growing outside? I've always kept this in a pot and put in the greenhouse overwinter as not sure how hardy it is, sent to me by a friend who lives on the Isle of White along with several other beauties none of which are really hardy.

its been in a pot outside all winter and survived all the snow and frosts. so it is very hardy.
