I have 3 cordlines in my garden that I tied up and covered this winter but the leaves are now brown and dead looking. Does this always happen in winter and do I now have to cut the dead leaves off and wait for new to grow ?

there usually ok but this winter has seen alot of casualties. use the search box top right to search cordilines

cut off the dead leaves and see what happens alot of cordilines have died this year due to the harsh winter but as you covered them they may be ok
