We found some clear, round, 4mm bug eggs in the bottom of a damp box which has been out in the garden all winter. They look like they could be either spider eggs, or, snail or slug eggs; how can we tell?

Hatch them out? Spider eggs are unlikely to be in a 'damp' box.

Spiders always leave their eggs in a round silken bag. Snail and slug eggs are translucent little "pearls", like someone spilled some fine tapioca in the damp.

How do I say thanks?
