I planted a passion flower last year which grew well, about 6x6 ft against a fence and have cut it back so all foliage has gone about a fortnight ago. There are no buds as of yet and I am concerned that I have done it too early or too much and should have waited until it had started to shoot.

Give it a week or two and you should see new shoots appearing. We cut ours hard back before winter and thought we'd lost it completely with the long hard frosts but there are tiny shoots now.
