Talking about French beans mine have gone all leggy as 1. I sowed them too early & 2. Its too cold to plant them outside and they have been kept in doors and I have been hardening them off outside. What should I do?

When no-one is looking throw them on the compost and start again. You won't gain anything from trying to keep them going and anyway seeds planted now will overtake your leggy ones and will produce better crops.
