Is there an advantage to buying crocus in the green?
I'm just about to buy some 'in the green' snowdrops and was wondering if there is also any advangate to buying crocus and grape hyacinth 'in the green' or should I just stick to normal dry bulbs for those??

Personally I like the bulbs. 1.cos there cheaper, 2 cos they get better established

Snowdrops are better planted in the green as are Winter aconite. Bulbs I suggest are ok for most of the other spring bulbs.
