I need a really strong weedkiller something like soduim chlorate to kill weeds and bulbs growing through membrain and stones recently put in my garden. can you recommend something, i have tried many usual brands from garden centres to no avail.

there are no stronger ones on the market, so unless you can talk to a friendly council groundsman and get him to call in and spray with their stuff you will just have to do repeat applications. spray bulbs after flowering so the poison is taken down to the bulb and kills it there.
