how do you take cuttings of a perennial wallflower

On plant Erysimum bicolor

Answers

chose a non flowering shoot about 4" long. cut off and remove all but the top 4-6 leaves. Dipcutting in hormone rooting powder/gel if you want and place cutting into free draining compost. pop a plastic bag or pop bottle with bottom ut off over the top. gentle bottom heat will speed rooting up but is not essential. when you see roots coming out of the pot, pot on. A 9cm pot would take 4-6 cuttings. they are usually very easy to do. Good luck.
