Japonica- cannot for the life of me remember its full name but its got bright yellow flowers almost like dandilions but much nicer, am thinking it maybe a climber the way its growing...any ideas of its proper name? need to know whether it needs an obelisk for support

Is it Kerria? woody stemmed? the stems reach about 6ft? what they call lax ie sprawling

YAY... well done thanks both of you...thats exactly what it is...my cameras bust and hubbys out with his :o( but all sorted now... and doesnt need any support so also saved me some pennies

i had this problem the other day because ive got this plant and i wanted to put a name to it so i looked it up in one of little brothers gardening books and it is a
Kerria Japonica and its got another word after the japonica.

Kerria japonica comes to mind...Its a shrub so does not needd a support ...
