Me again (sorry, new to all this gardening malarky) - repotted two Cordylines 4 days ago. One of them looks fine, the other has its lowest level leaves beginning to wilt and lose their reddish colour. Is this nasty or to be expected

Sorry Nosey, gonna disagree with you - Neily has repotted, not moved from the garden. Cordylines do lose their lower leaves quite naturally, and that might be what's happening here. As long as its only the lower leaves, don't worry about it. Remove them with sharp scissors now, or wait for them to die back a bit more and pull them off.

your probably right but i still would of done it a bit earlier and the fact that only one is loosing leaves .the stem is made of the old leaves i believe anyway time will tell i guess.
