Mine dried out a bit before I could plant..what is the care instructions for this plant?

On plant Rudbeckia laciniata

Answers

As long as the crown is still alive, it could easily recover. Go ahead and plant it, snip off all the dead bits, and use a good root stimulator on it--Superthrive is my personal favorite. If you don't get frost until after October, it will probably also bloom. If frost comes early, you might have to wait until next summer for flowers.
Good luck!
