Support for a clematis next to a wall- help please.
I have bought a clematis (perle d'azur) which I would like to grow next to the wall on my patio. It is an old dry stone wall and so I can't get the drill out and attach a trellis to it (apart from anything else the wall belongs to the neighbour, but also it is also too uneven to do that). Would a clematis just climb up a stone wall naturally? Or perhaps I could stick a trellis in the ground?
Thanks for any advice.

You can get posts that go into the ground then fasten your trellis to the posts I am not too sure what these are called but they have them in B&Q that are for such this sort of job I had to get some fencing posts for my trellis.
