Does anyone grow hostas from seed? Would be grateful for any cultural hints and tips!

Thanks in advance!

Hi, Hosta are very easy from seed, sow them in a cold frame in spring, bear in mind that only H ventricosa is the only species that are reliably true from seed, the best form of propagation is division in early spring or late summer, Derek.

Thanks Derek! The seed I have we're taken from the large leaf white flowered Hosta 'Big Boy'. It will be interesting to see what appears from the seeds!

How do I say thanks?
