About now - I have a young one on my allotment and it was in full flower when I was there yesterday.

My Conference is in blossom too in London area. All my fruit trees are nearly together this year.

My Conferance pear trees are both full of blossom at this moment.One is only in its third year and had just one fruit last year,it looks great just now.
My older tree of six years is loaded with flowers ,and I am hoping that the future frosty nights we are expecting,will not ruin it.( Worcester)

It is more of a worry about dryness now. There looks to be a good pollination with tiny fruitlets, with a swollen base, but dryness could scupper the set on trees on Quince A root stock to limit size. I'm off now to sink the largest lemonade bottle I can find, to deliver water to one droopy looking tree!! Nine out of ten of my pear and apple trees are loaded with blossom this year. The one without has been told it's a one way trip to the shredder if no blossom next time round.
