i have planted my new climbing rose - foloowing all the instructions - when will i see her start to show any signs of growing?

plant some small growing lavender at its base and it will attract insects to eat the aphids which will devour new roses and of course the aroma of lavender is cool.

make sure the other plants are clear of the rose roots or they will compete for water and nutrients and neither will grow as well as they should.

some lavender have shallow roots i asked guy at dobbies and he recommended the type i got

Yes I know they have different root spread but if they are too close they will compete, that is just basic biology.

If you have just p[lanted it then I would expect to see leaf growth in the next week or so.
