Ive got an old rickety wooden stepladder which i want to put herb pots on. Ive always grown my herbs in the garden till now. When u grow herbs in small pots can they stay in them as I dont want to repot them into larger pots (if u know wht I mean)

Not really - however small the herb, eventually it will outgrow its pot, unless you're growing annual herbs.
