Most of the UK's pot plants come from commercial nurseries in Holland, Demark and Belgium. If you want to know exactly where a particular plant comes from I suppose the best way would be to ask a seller who the suppliers are and then email the supplier with a question as to where the nursery is based. Most of them will be wholesale, I would have thought, though it would be interesting to visit one and see the plants being produced in large numbers.
