We are having 11 large trees removed from our garden soon -also the roots-and would welcome advice on what we can do to save lilies and wonderful hostas. Should we try to lift the best of them and pot up? can we therefore use Growbags?Help please!

Though other compost will be cheaper than a growbag... if you have good soil just pot them up in that.

Not grobags, the depth of compost won't be enough. Dig them out and pot them all up - you can use the contents of a growbag for compost if you like. Keep them well watered.
