Fife, United Kingdom
I have a tasmanian tree fern which has been affected badly by the frost and snow that we had in the early part of the year. The top looks all burnt and it looks as tho the hole at the top is furmenting with a guey substance. any help would be grateful to save this loverly specimen.
thanks sharon

Doesn't sound good, does it. Not sure what you can do - I think someone on here was going to try sawing off the top to see if that would force new growth, but I don't know that it would work and may even finish it off completely.
