I have an area in the corner of my garden under a large scotts pine, I would like to grow some shrubs here as the grass never grows there, which plants might survive with virtually no sun light and moist soil?

Not much - Ruscus, hypericum calycinum, hedera helix varieties, though I'm not necessarily recommending the latter two, they can be quite invasive. You could try Tellima, Tolmiea (get it in the houseplant section, not usually outside, but is very hardy) Tiarella, lamiums, ajuga reptans.
