Most mandevillea plants will not survive a temperature of less than 45 degrees so you can put them outside in the summer (if we get one!!) but you should overwinter indoors. They need about 6 hours of sunshine to flower well. I've just got one and am keeping it in the house until the days and nights are warm. Good luck with it.
