Yes...I knew they were hardy...supposedly! I remember last year Alzeimer,living up in the far north of Scotland, said she had them surviving winter after winter and climbing 8 or 9 feet in the summer months!
That gave me the confidence to plant 10 of them! Some were better than others, especially the 4 in pots, two of which are 6 feet tall and in leaf now.
I'll wait and see what happens...thanks again for your comments everyone.
