I am trying to find a plant that I have eaten in a salad, was told it was called an iceplant. do you have any suggestions?

definately an iceberg lettuce .
An iceplant is definately NOT reccommended for eating

But iceplant isn't iceberg, and surely there can be no one over the age of 12 who doesn't recognise iceburg lettuce, it's as common as chips - not to mention slightly less nutritious, lol!

So it is an ice plant salad! I sometimes wonder if anyone but us uses google to get answers! This may just become the 'unusual veg. to grow' for the 2011 edition of In Tune with the Moon :-)

I googled ice plant, but came up with zilch, 10 out of 10 for effort, MG!

Really annoying that they don't tell you what the plant is actually called in Latin - how you supposed to grow or buy it if you don't know that?

Was it a leaf? Only ice plant I know is of the sedum spectabilis variety, a garden ornamental, and I'm not even sure that's edible.
