I am growing an early greenhouse tomato,Bloody Butcher. Apparently an indeterminate variety. Always successful. This year, plants are better than ever.First flowers open on bottom trusses but then the stems have gone into 2 directions. What I would consider as the the main stem, with the next flower buds on has veered off leaving a vertical stem and leaf where I would expect the leader to be. It is the strongest and the stem is darker. Now at last the question. Have I nipped off the right stem, the central one,on some plants that stem as well has flowers on but much smaller and immature. With this variety it has not happened before.

it wont matter which one you have as a leader. once the other one is off all the energy goes into the other stem.
